How do we do this for no money out of pocket?
We have partnered with a few amazing business owners in Dallas County who think your safety and security is PRIORITY! They have kindly donated their time, energy, money and resources to get you back to what you do best. So please take the time to recognize them in some manner in the future.
Who should be tested?
Test employees on an ongoing basis to help prevent workplace outbreaks.
Test employees who start to exhibit symptoms or if new exposures emerge in your workplace.
People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Should any employees exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, PRO has a step-by-step plan in place, which includes testing and anonymous contact tracing.
Clinicians manage built-in 'Return to Work' features including doctor-issued work notes and ongoing Vitamin and immunization resources.
If you are in close contact of someone with COVID-19 or you are a resident in a community where there is ongoing spread of COVID-19 and develop symptoms of COVID-19, please call your healthcare provider and tell them about your symptoms and your exposure. They will decide whether you need to be tested.
Are antibody tests effective to detect Covid 19?
In the early days of an infection, antibodies may not be detected, limiting the effectiveness of an antibody test. This type of test may also be falsely positive if antibodies to a coronavirus other than the pandemic novel strain are present.
Because of this potential for false negative and false positive results, an antibody test should not be used alone to diagnose COVID-19. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
What does a positive antibody test for COVID-19 mean?
In general, a positive antibody test is presumed to mean a person has been infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, at some point in the past.
Antibodies start developing within 1 to 3 weeks after infection.
How long does it take?
We try to make this visit as short as possible. We hope to have you in and out of the clinic within 30 minutes. Some waiting time and paperwork will be required so please try to come in 15 minutes before your scheduled appointments. Walk ins are welcome, but there might be a longer wait. If you are taking both tests for CoVid, expect about 3 days to get the results from the Molecular Test back from the lab.
